The MLS salary guide has been released, showing the large sums earned by SA's Njabulo Blom, Bongokuhle Hlongwane and Tsiki Ntsabeleng who are living their best lives in the US.

Check it out!

What's the story?

The recently revealed MLS salary guide showed fans just how much footballers rake in plying their trade in the states.

Three South African ballers, Blom, Hlongwane and Ntsabeleng are all earning handsomely at their respective clubs, which affords them to live it up during their down time off the field.

Let's take a closer look at their salaries and the lavish things their salaries afford them...

SA's MLS millionaires

Mzansi's trio of MLS stars all at least earn a base salary that exceeds a million rand, showing just how much cash can be earned by talented local stars if they take the risk to play outside the country.

Ex-Glamour Boy Njabulo Blom, who's the latest Bafana star to make the switch to the MLS, pockets $246 000 (R4.73 million) for his base salary and $338 250 (R6.51 million) in guaranteed compensation per year at St Louis City, with his monthly guaranteed compensation being at R28 188 (R543 000) according to the MLS salary guide.

Blom, who joined MLS Western Conference side St Louis City SC to be mentored by Bafana & Chiefs legend Bradley Carnell two-year contract that runs to the end of the 2024 MLS season with an to extend for another two years.

The baller is living it up in the US. His Instagram is now filled with 'fit pics of him rocking pricey Nike sneakers, the waviest garments, taking his style game to a new level since his January arrival.

Hlongwane, who arrived in the US back in January last year, has become a fan favourite at Minnesota United, and the attacker is receiving around R971k per month on his current deal.

The ex-Maritzburg United player receives $560 000 (R10.8 million) in base salary and $610 000 (R11.8 million) in guaranteed compensation per year.

Unsurprisingly, the star has also levelled up his fashion game since moving to the Loons in the the Upper Midwest of the US. His kick game has seen him wear the crispiest Jordan's, and the rarest Nike Air Force 1 colourways.

He's one of the Minnesota United's best dressed players now, a reel he shared a while ago tells us why:

FC Dallas star Katlego "Tsiki" Ntsabeleng, who was formerly on the books at Kaizer Chiefs, has a current package of R137 500 per month.

He gets around $85 444 (R1.65 million) in base salary, and the same in guaranteed compensation.

Tsiki, like the aforementioned SA ballers may not be the flashiest player around, but one can see he's spending his Benjamins on unreal streetwear drip and catches NBA matches in his free time.

Watch:

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe's Teenage Hadebe, formerly at Amakhosi, earns a staggering $1 122 900 (R21.7 million) in base salary and $1 288 077 (R24.9 million) in guaranteed compensation at Houston Dynamo.

The defender isn't shy to show off his wealth, regularly wearing flashy items from Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Amiri, which saw him winning a best-dressed player award at his club last season:
