LALIGA's football camp in Newcastle offers a platform for local football enthusiasts, aspiring athletes, and young talents to learn from some of the best coaches in the world.

This event, taking place at the Arbor Park Sports Grounds from 1 October until tomorrow, 3 October, offers a spectacular showcase of football talent and enthusiasm, further strengthening the bond between LALIGA and the South African football community.

Additionally, twelve local coaches, split equally with six men and six women, are on hand to mentor and train the young talents.

The three day camp also features two LALIGA Coaches, both possessing UEFA Pro licenses, and are hard at work to share their expertise and knowledge with the participants.

Tresor Penku, Managing Director for LALIGA Africa, expressed his excitement about the event:

"We are thrilled to bring the LALIGA experience to Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal. LALIGA is committed to nurturing football talent worldwide, and this camp is a testament to our dedication to developing the sport in South Africa. We believe this event will inspire the next generation of football stars and strengthen the football community in the region."

KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture, Dr Ntuthuko Mahlaba, welcomed the hosting of the camp, which is the second to be held in the Province as part of the partnership with LALIGA.

The first camp was hosted in Durban in late March.

"We are honoured to collaborate with LALIGA on this initiative. Football is a passion that unites people, and we are excited to witness the positive impact this camp will have on our local community. It's a great opportunity for our youth to learn from the best and develop their skills," said MEC Mahlaba.
