Ekstein donates school shoes
Ex-Kaizer Chiefs wonderkid Hendrick Ekstein visited his home town of Bekkersdal, where he's highly revered for his achievements in football, to visit the Maputle Public School.
Ekstein arrived at Maputle with boxes of shoes to donate to a group of learners, who were forced to wear unsuitable footwear such as crocs, Ugg's and worn-out sneakers to school.
The Usuthu star came through with at least three large boxes of Toughess school shoes, a staple among South African learners, and restored some bright smiles and hope among the youngsters.
