Mamelodi Sundowns might have one of the biggest names in music as a fan!
Check it out...
What's the story?
A Sundowns home jersey was spotted on hip-hop superstar DJ Khaled's table of clothes.
The entertaining producer, who's also signed to Roc Nation like Masandawana, posted a reel of him showing off some Jordan gear sent to him by pop star J Balvin.
Although he didn't acknowledge the jersey in the video, it'll sure get Downs fans excited to see that DJ Khaled owns one of their jerseys.
Downs also had a local rap star at their Chloorkop training base this morning.
Is DJ Khaled a Sundowns fan?
As mentioned above, DJ Khaled, who has one of the hottest albums on the streets 'God Did', owns a Masandawana jersey.
The jersey was shown in a reel where DJ Khaled was showing his love for the Air Jordan x J Balvin collaboration, which features a cool baseball jacket, a hoodie and some heavenly Air Jordan 1 kicks.
Check out the reel, which will have a lot of Downs fans in Cloud 9:
Could it be that DJ Khaled is part of the Ka Bo Yellow nation? or was he simply gifted the jersey by their shared management agency, Roc Nation? Either way, it's a cool moment.
Cassper Nyovest visits Sundowns
Local rapper Cassper Nyovest paid a special visit to Sundowns' Chloorkop training base to prepare for his boxing match against fellow artist Priddy Ugly.
Nyovest was seen in a personalised Downs' green training kit with the number 47 on it. He also took to Twitter to joke that he'll casually feature in a Sundowns game this weekend after his fight.
A fan responded with a joke that he's Kermit Erasmus' replacement at the reigning DStv Premiership champs:
Mamelodi Sundowns have signed @casspernyovest on a 3 year deal.??
