Desiree Ellis' inspiring story is now available in a autobiography which was launched at Exclusive Books on Tuesday evening.
Ellis' chatted to SuperSport TV presenter Carol Tshabalala about her story, with Lucas Radebe and Andre Arendse showing their support for the Banyana boss.

Desiree Ellis book
Desiree Ellis' 30-year has associated with Banyana Banyana, which began as a player in the early 90's, has seen her elevate the status of the women's national team.
From her stellar, almost decade-long service as a baller to her major success as a coach, including last year's historic WAFCON triumph in Morocco, Ellis' journey is truly an inspiring one.
As mentioned in the book synopsis, 'Magic' (published by Pan Macmillan) details her football journey began on the streets of Salt River in Cape Town, where she developed the skills and strength that earned her the nickname 'Magic' on the pitch.

Her early days at the Athlone Celtic women's team, she was coached by her uncle, with her mom putting together the kits and her dad sorting out the administration side with transport and scheduling games - she's certainly come a long way since those humble beginnings, defeating the odds as both a player and coach.
The book launch
South African football legends Lucas Radebe and Andre Arendse were present at the book launch to support Ellis, along with Proteas cricketer Kagiso Rabada.
SuperSport's Carol Tshabalala interviewed Desiree Ellis and the author Luke Alfred ("Vuvuzela Dawn" author) at the launch hosted at the Exclusive Books in Sandton City.
