Although Gift Motupa has enjoyed limited opportunities to impress in the field of play over the last few years, he still has plenty going for him in the business world.
Motupa has returned to his first professional club, Baroka, after an almost four-year stint at Downs and during that time, he's managed to secure his future once he hangs up his boots.

Motupa's business acumen
29-year-old forward Gift Motupa is regarded as a journeyman in South African football circles and has plied his trade from two of the big three, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates, as well as Bidvest Wits and Chippa United.
The Baroka man may have struggled to make an impact at Downs, but made sure to stack his bread off the pitch with various business ventures.
It's been reported that Motupa's business endeavours include an amateur club called Thogoaneng, a team which he purchased in 2022.

As per, Football SA on Twitter/X, Motupa is said to own over 100 student-rented rooms in Limpopo. Motupa has not shied away from giving back to Mzansi's future stars by hosting Kasi Football Tournaments.
The baller also donates food and essential goods to the less privileged through his Gift Motupa Foundation.

Gift Motupa has left Sundowns soon after he bought his own club.
Motupa purchased the status of Seshego Kings in the SAFA SAB League in Limpopo.
He renamed the club to Thogoaneng,
which is his Village in Ga-Chuene, Limpopo.
