Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann bagged a brace in his team's 3-1 win over Girona in LaLiga on Saturday, with the Frenchman doing a legendary Siphiwe Tshabalala celebration.
Griezmann was partnered by Rodrigo De Paul in the celebrations, explained why decided to reenact Shabba's moves, revealing that his young daughter is a huge fan of the dance.

Griezmann on doing Shabba's celebration
After getting a double in Atleti's 3-1 LaLiga win over Girona at the Wanda Metropolitano, Griezmann went viral online for doing Siphiwe Tshabalala's iconic celebration from the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Shabba's dance, like the spectacular goal that preceded it, lives long in the memory of football fans around the world, with that unforgettable moment against Mexico at the FNB Stadium still being shared regularly online.
The Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana legend was ecstatic by Griezmann doing his celebration with Atleti teammate and World Cup-winning Argentinian midfielder, Rodrigo de Paul.
Shabba re-shared the moment on both his Instagram and Twitter/X pages, giving Griezmann and de Paul a "big shout out" for giving the dance a new lease on life.

In his post-match interview, Man of the Match Griezmann explained what inspired him to honour Tshabalala and do the magical celebration.
"We were watching celebrations at home and this one popped up, Tshabalala did it in the South Africa World Cup, I think. Amaro [Griezmann's daughter] loved it," explained Griezmann,
"I sent it to Rodri [Rodrigo de Paul], and he was really looking forward to doing it. We nailed it, it was perfect."
