What's the story?

The AmaZulu family said their last goodbyes to one of their son's, Bonginkosi Ntuli, who sadly lost his life on Sunday following a short battle with cancer, aged 32.

Dressed proudly in their club colours, the Usuthu players sang beautifully for their fallen teammate as their did at his Memorial Service at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday.

A speech at the Memorial Service from AmaZulu CEO Sinenjabulo Zungu, who recently married Ntuli, was also shared on social media.

Usuthu stars say final goodbyes to Ntuli

Bonginkosi Ntuli's family, friends and AmaZulu family paid their final respects to the late striker on a gloomy Thursday morning in Durban, with Usuthu's players singing their hearts out for 'Mdeva'. 

AmaZulu have been struck with grief this week after sending South African football into a tailspin in announcing the untimely passing of Ntuli on Sunday.

After visiting his family on Tuesday, a memorial service at the Moses Mabhida Stadium followed on Wednesday, with staunch Usuthu supporters also present.

Ntuli's funeral was held at the African Congregational Church in Cliffdale, with the club livestreaming the service on YouTube for fans to pay respects virtually.
