What's the story?
The gold adidas Predator Absolute boots are making a stunning comeback ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The original boots were worn by Zinedine Zidane on his last professional football match at the 2006 World Cup final in Berlin, which proved to be an unhappy swansong for the French legend.

The boots were made specially for Zizou in adidas' 'ZZ' pack back in '06 and the enchanting boots are hitting the retail market for the first time.
According to Footy Headlines, the boots will retail at 300 euros (R5 387) and the recreation of these boots feature the classic Predator tongue.

The limited-edition boots have a comfortable rubber strike zone and a sole plate that you'd see on modern Predator boots.
The upper part of the boots are the exact same as the original pair worn by Zizou in '06, which gives it a classic element for that nostalgic feel.
The likelihood of a adidas-sponsored player wearing this in the regular World Cup games is relatively low but seeing these boots in another final will be a moment to savour.
