MZANSI was left stunned after a video of a woman throwing and breaking computers in a bank went viral on social media on Wednesday, 3 November.
The incident happened inside the Capitec bank on Fagan Street in Strand, Cape Town on Wednesday.
It is not clear why she was angry, but the video shows the naked woman standing next to a bank consultant and then moving from one workstation to another, shouting and throwing computers and phones to the ground.
The woman was later escorted out of the bank by a security guard but many people were left traumatised by the incident.
Nomsa Masamba from the area told Daily Sun she saw a commotion outside the bank when the woman was being escorted outside.

“Some people had to cover their eyes with their hands, because they could not look at the naked woman.
“When I arrived, she was out of the bank already. It’s not clear why she was gatvol, but obviously it was about money. She was boiling with anger when she was finally thrown outside.”
Captain Frederick Van Wyk said: “A malicious damage to property case was opened for investigation at Strand SAPS. A 41-year-old suspect was arrested and will appear in the Strand Magistrates Court once charged.”
Responding to Twitter users who were concerned about the incident, the bank said: “We, at Capitec, are as perplexed by this matter which happened at the Strand branch, as everyone else. We are trying to get to the bottom of this.”
@gabbyrgee said the bank should give people more information regarding the incident.
“People are tired and frustrated, thus their reactions. Capitec, you need to give a better statement. Don’t tell us you are perplexed,” she said.
