CONTROVERSIAL alleged unrest instigator Ngizwe Mchunu says he is ready for October.

This after he briefly appeared in the Randburg Magistrates Court on Friday, 17 June, on charges of instigating violence that was followed by the unrest in KZN and Gauteng last July, resulting in people looting shops and burning buildings.

The court ruled that the trial against Ngizwe would start in October. He was arrested last year after constantly stating his slogan “azikhale”, interpreted as incitement of violence.

And this came after the arrest of former president Jacob Zuma.

“I’m ready, but the matter is in court so I can’t talk too much about it,” said Ngizwe.
