European champions Real Madrid have now reportedly reached an agreement to sign a highly sought-after Brazilian sensation.

According to various reports across Europe, a number of top teams are scrambling for in-demand Brazilian teenager Endrick's signature.

The 16-year-old broke on to the scene in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A this year, and scored his first goal for Palmeiras' senior team in October.

With league football in the country currently on recess due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the wonderkid has already registered three goals and one assist in his first seven top-flight appearances.

Endrick is reportedly being pursued by, among others, Manchester City, FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea – who invited Endrick and his family to their Cobham training ground to sell the project to the young talent – but it is now reported that Real hold a strong advantage in the race.

According to several reports in Brazil, Los Blancos have now reached a full verbal agreement with the starlet's camp.

"Endrick to Real Madrid, here we go! Full verbal agreement in place as reported two days ago, it's now closed," transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote on Twitter.

"Real Madrid will pay €60m to Palmeiras plus €12m taxes. Brazilian gem [2006] will join in July 2024. Real plan to sign all documents within December.

"Important to add: nothing signed yet for Endrick deal and it should take some days, but there's full verbal agreement between all parties, clubs and player.

"It's done – will be sealed soon."

It is believed Endrick will sign six-year deal with Real, beginning in June 2024 and ending in June 2030.

The Brasilia-born prospect, who would only be able to make the move to Europe once he is 18 years old, has already received rave reviews from a number of Selecao players, including Richarlison, who has compared him to former Inter Milan star Adriano.

"Trust me, I can say that Endrick is impressive, he's very strong and talented," the Tottenham Hotspur forward said of the teenager, according to the Daily Mirror

"He reminds me of Adriano.

"I watched him playing with Brazil and Palmeiras; I think, in two years, he'll arrive in Europe."
