Manchester United are reportedly intent on selling Anthony Martial at the end of the season.

Manchester United have now reportedly made a big decision on Anthony Martial's future at the club.

The Red Devils are expected to be active in the next transfer window, with manager Erik ten Hag expected to carefully start building his side to his requirements after his first season in charge, and as many as six players could leave the club due to expiring contracts.

Phil Jones and goalkeepers David de Gea, Jack Butland and Tom Heaton are all out of contract at the end of the campaign, while the loan deals for midfielder Marcel Sabitzer and striker Wout Weghorst will also come to an end in June.

No decision regarding new contracts have been made on any of the aforementioned players so far, but it now appears there is one player who is, perhaps surprisingly, guaranteed an exit in the coming months.

According to Manchester Evening News journalist Samuel Luckhurst, the Red Devils intend to sell attacker Martial in the next window.

The France international arrived at Old Trafford in a €60 million (R1.1 billion) move from As Monaco in 2015, becoming the most expensive teenager in Premier League history in the process – a record that still has not been surpassed.

Injuries in recent years have stifled the 27-year-old's career, with the forward having failed to make more than 22 league appearances in each of the past two seasons.

In this campaign so far, he has featured only nine times in the EPL, and missed a staggering 28 games due to several injuries to his back, hip, hamstring, and Achilles heel, per Transfermarkt.
