Inter Miami are reportedly not willing to let Messi leave the club on loan during their off-season.

Amid much speculation around Lionel Messi's future, Inter Miami have now reportedly made a final decision on the matter.

The side co-owned by David Beckham has decided it is not willing to let their star talisman leave in any potential loan deal, according to reports.

The South Florida-based side is set for a four-month off-season after failing to qualify for the MLS play-offs.

As a result, reports of a potential reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia began to emerge, with the Middle East country said to be keen on taking advantage of the situation.

However, according to Spanish journalist Guillem Balague, Inter Miami's intention is to keep a hold of their talisman.

"Messi will have around one month holiday, like other footballers," Balague said, as per BBC via The Telegraph Online.

"So forget any move to Saudi or similar."

Since making the move to America, Messi has made 13 appearances, bagging 11 goals and eight assists.

Miami are due to play the last game of their MLS campaign next Tuesday against Charlotte FC before they take a four-month break from competitive football.

It is understood the side is planning to play some friendly matches in Asia in November, before a break and then the beginning their pre-season in January.
