New signing Ilkay Gundogan could reportedly leave Barcelona for free by this weekend after a shocking contract clause was revealed.
The German international joined the Catalans on a free transfer after parting ways with treble winners Manchester City at the end of last season.

However, the German's time at the Camp Nou could be short-lived if he is not registered for the upcoming LALIGA campaign by this weekend.
The Catalan giants begin the defence of the league title this weekend as they take on Getafe on Sunday evening at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.
According to Forbes, there is a clause in Gundogan's contract that allows him to leave the club as a free agent on Sunday if he is not registered in time for the Getafe encounter.
Gundogan has not had a smooth transition with the Spanish champions, as he picked up an injury during the club's pre-season tour of the United States.
The report adds that it could get worse for Barcelona, who will still be expected to pay the Germany international for the entire year, which would hurt the club during their on-going financial issues.
Various reports claim that Blaugrana only have 13 players registered for the new season at the moment, including Ousmane Dembele and Franck Kessie who are closing in on moves to Paris Saint-Germain and Al Ahli respectively.
