Cristiano Ronaldo's "secret talks" with the Al Nassr hierarchy could reportedly lead to Al Nassr boss Rudi Garcia's sacking.

Some big changes could be expected at the Saudi Pro League side, with several reports now suggesting that Garcia's time at the club could soon be over.

With the Knights of Najd yet to release an official statement on the matter, it has been claimed the Frenchman's possible sacking could be a result of Ronaldo's secret discussions with club executives earlier this month, according to AS.

The Portugal international is said to be unhappy with the coach's approach to training and matches, and this has led to the club's decision-makers siding with him and being ready to dismiss the tactician from his role.

The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner was left particularly upset following Al Nassr's recent 0-0 draw with Al-Fayha, storming off the pitch in anger as the Riyadh club dropped more points in the Saudi Pro League title race.

Garcia took charge of the side in July 2022 and has taken the team up to second place in the current standings, just three points behind leaders Al-Ittihad.

However, they were top of the table earlier in the campaign but lost their grip on the summit following some dropped points in recent matches, and with seven games before the season ends, Al Nassr remain keen to win a first league title since the 2018/19 campaign.

Ronaldo has played an important role in his team's title chase, having contributed with 11 goals and two assists in 10 league games since joining in January, but reportedly remains unimpressed with his current manager Garcia.
