The owner of Yadah Stars FC has revealed plans to persuade Khama Billiat and Knowledge Musona to return to the Zimbabwe national team.

It has now been suggested that ex-Kaizer Chiefs stars Khama Billiat and Knowledge Musona could both make a sensational return to the Zimbabwe national team.

Billiat was unveiled by his new club Yadah Stars FC at the Heart Stadium in Harare on Thursday.

His return to his homeland has been met with a lot of fanfare, with the winger himself admitting that he has been feeling a lot of love since his homecoming.

"I don't think I have ever felt like this before. The love that I'm getting, is simply amazing, overwhelming and it's a great feeling. I can't wait for the games to begin," Billiat said during his unveiling, according to Soccer24.

Prophet Walter Magaya, the owner of Yadah, has since revealed that he has a plan to persuade Billiat to come out of international football retirement after hanging up his boots in 2021.

The prominent magnate also confirmed they will try to convince Musona to do the same, after he quit the Warriors in 2022.

"Khama is big in terms of his profile, he has a very big name, he played a friendly and I can tell you that he is bad news and this boy knows how to play football," Magaya, according to H-Metro.

"I think even for our national team, he is still good enough to play at that level and I will try to talk to him to reconsider his decision to retire from the Warriors.

"I will also do the same with Knowledge because I don't think we are ready, as a nation, to lose such talent.

"These guys have the experience we need and let's see how it will come out.

"Look, Khama is only 33. How old is Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo? I am not comparing him with those two superstars. But, I am saying, with the right attitude and focus, there is nothing that can prevent a player from doing well even when they are north of 30 years.

"I know Billiat very well. He still has it in his legs and I am saying he will do very well in the league. He has an athletic frame and that's an advantage on his part. His technical ability is top-notch and that should carry him over in the upcoming season.

"Before we decided to rope him in, we looked at all those factors and we have no doubt that he will do very well for the club.

"We are not going to exert any pressure on him but we know he is a top player. The platform that we have given him will make him excel because we know he is a good player."
