To dismiss Nyasha Mushekwi as being past his best based on his age is akin to crossing a busy highway.
Mushekwi just doesn’t know how to stop scoring goals as evidenced by what he continues doing for his latest Chinese employers.

While he will be 37 in four months, he is still doing the business of scoring goals to perfection and reminiscent of what he did in his first season at The Brazilians 14 years ago.
The former Zimbabwe international has scored in five games in a row for table-topping Chinese second-tier league club Yunnan Yukun.
Yunnan Yukun have won all the five games in which Mushekwi has scored and with the points accumulated have moved top of the table.
On a personal note, the former Sundowns hitman is now the league’s leading scorer and doing what he did aged 23 at Chloorkop.
Mushekwi went through a purple patch of five goals in five games in his first season at Sundowns.
Then just last season, he scored 20 goals in all competitions at Chinese Super League club Zhejiang Professional and was second on the second top scorer in the league.

The former basketball player has been on double figures for 10 out of 13 of the years that he has played professional football in South Africa, Sweden and China.
At Sundowns, Mushekwi scored 40 goals in 53 starts.
