Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby "Bobsteak" Motaung says that the club is not yet done in the transfer window.

Last week the Glamour Boys announced two major signings, adding to their books highly-rated goal-poacher Christian Saile Basomboli from Zambian side Nchanga Rangers and SuperSport United’s Thatayaone Dithlokwe on pre-contract.

Dithlokwe will finish the 2022/23 Season at his current club and only move to his new club at the end of June.

Basomboli is already in the country and yesterday was unveiled on the club's different media platforms.

"For now you can say that [the club is done signing], but it is never done until it's over," Motaung tells KickOff.com.

"But at the moment we are still busy. We don't know yet how many players we might add, it depends on what the needs are and what might be available on the market."

Motaung refused to reveal if the club is negotiating with SuperSport for Dithlokwe's early release.

"I don't want to say anything on that matter now."

Asked if Basomboli will be able to play in Sunday's league encounter against hoodoo team Royal AM, Bobsteak said that at this stage he was not sure.

"I'm not part of the technical team, So I can't say if he will play this weekend, I'm not even sure the work permit has been sorted.

"They only applied for it this week so I don't know if it will be ready by the weekend."
