It seems as though Rulani Mokwena is not only an expert at football as the tactician has shown promise in a completely different field!
His side clinched the league title after the 5-1 dismantling of Kaizer Chiefs last Thursday, and celebrations were prevalent but after the wave of elation had passed, the coach showed that he can also write some poetry.

Winning a league title would take lots of sacrifice, and it also demands hours of hard work and an incredible level of focus. Downs have been excellent examples of this as the trophy they are destined to lift represents their seventh consecutive league triumph.
Additionally, they are still unbeaten in the DStv Premiership this season. As such, Mokwena took to Instagram to show appreciation for his players in the creative form of a poem, and accompanied it with a series of photos of him and his players.

To the special Ones who found me, saw me, accepted me,
To the special ones who carry, support and protect me,
To the special ones who give me back, just as much as I give them if not more,
To the ones who Love me despite my flaws and inequities
They are the Giants who miraculously find the strength and humility to allow me to stand on their shoulders…
I call them the special ones
He went on to add that he is "extremely proud of this special group."

The Brazilians still have league games to play but will be determined to complete the season as Invincibles. The side will also be in action against Stellenbosch in the Nedbank Cup final on 01 June.
