RADIO station Kaya 959 has finally announced its line-up for this year.
The major changes include the moving of dynamic duo Thomas Msengana and Skhumba Hlophe from the breakfast show after 13 months.
They will now host a new show, Last Call Mondays, on Thursdays from 10pm to midnight and Fridays from 9pm to midnight. They hosted their last breakfast show on Friday, 24 June.
Kgomotso Meso, who’s been with the station for 11 years, takes over from 5am to 6am in a new show called Early Breakfast. Then Dineo Ranaka, who recently left Metro FM, and Sol Phenduka, take over from 6am to 9am on 959 Breakfast.
Gospel singer, pastor and TV presenter Khaya Mthethwa is joining Kaya 959 and he’ll host a new show, Noted, on Saturdays from 9am to 12pm.

Couple Mo and Phindi Grootboom will be hosting The Family every Sunday from 9am to 12pm.
Tbose Mokwele continues with his morning show, Best T in the City, from 9am to 12pm and Andy Maqondwana continues with Feel Good from 12pm to 3pm.
Sizwe Dhlomo is also still hosting Kaya Drive from 3pm to 6pm.
Speaking about the changes, managing director Sibongile Mtyali said: “Radio as a medium continues to remain a strong platform for connecting people, and radio stations the world over have to constantly assess and adjust to changing needs and lifestyles.
“These adjustments to the line-up are proof that 25 years since its founding, Kaya 959 is still alive to market demands to consistently provide quality programming. The addition of established names such as Dineo Ranaka, Sol Phenduka, Khaya Mthethwa, and Mo and Phindi, as well as the realigning of our magnificent existing talent are bold steps that Kaya 959 is undertaking to grow the radio station to even greater heights,” she continued.
