Making pork chops a little fancier and even more #JustDelicious with a quick and easy gourmet touch!
Ingredients
120g blue cheese, crumbled
30g fresh chives, chopped
2,5ml (½t) garlic powder
freshly ground black pepper
4 Eskort Chops Excellente, butterflied
30ml (2T) olive oil
To serve
Broccoli florets, steamed
baby potatoes, baked
chopped fresh parsley, to garnish
Method
- In a small bowl, combine the blue cheese, chives, garlic powder and a pinch of pepper.
- Mix until well combined and set aside.
- Put a heaped teaspoon of the blue cheese mixture on one half of a butterflied chop, close the chop with the other half and use toothpicks to secure. Repeat for the remaining chops.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- To serve Remove from the heat and serve with the steamed broccoli florets and baked baby potatoes. Garnish with chopped parsley.
