It’s been two months since her baby died and was allegedly thrown away, but this East London mother still has no closure.

Phiwokuhle Mnyikizo, a 27-year-old make-up artist says the Eastern Cape Department of health is mum about the circumstances that led to her daughter’s death.

“They do not volunteer any information. They only respond once I prompt them, and even then, they are not telling me anything concrete.”
