The playlists are ready, the outfits are being planned and there's talk of practising the right dance moves.

South Africans aged 35-49 are now legible to register for the vaccine and the excitement is spreading.

With Mdu Masilela’s Mazola as one of the theme songs, they have taken to social media to share their excitement about getting the jab against Covid-19.

They have started planning outfits for the big day and have stopped short of rolling out the red carpet.

Government recently announced that 15 July the group can register to get the vaccine and the inoculation will start on 1 August.

And if their age mates are a little wary about getting the shot, they have found fun but not so subtle ways to remind them that they are very much eligible. The caption “If you can remember this then go register for the vaccine” followed with a nostalgic picture or video has been trending for days.
