The president seems to be now singing a different tune.
"No one should be forced to be vaccinated," Cyril Ramaphosa has stated previously, "instead, we need to use the available scientific evidence to encourage, repeat encourage, people to be vaccinated to protect themselves, but also to protect people around them."
But, with the rising Covid-19 cases fuelled by the omicron variant, it's increasingly likely that mandatory vaccination will be implemented in more companies.
