He is only 17 years old, but Sphephelo Mabena is already a well-known name in the tech world.
He was first thrust into the spotlight when he developed the Taxi Maths app. Now, he's taking things further and has developed software for a paperless and contactless parking app, the Future Parking app.
Sphephelo tells Drum he was motivated to develop the app when he saw how many people actually lost their packing tickets at malls and seeing the amount of surfaces one had to touch to get the ticket and later pay for it.
