As the countdown to South Africa's upcoming elections draws near, the political arena has become a stage for rhetoric promises, where candidates vie for the attention and support of the electorate.
However, amidst the flurry of speeches and manifestos, certain statements uttered by politicians have raised eyebrows and sparked concern amongst citizens.
