Diamonds are indeed a girl’s best friend, and she always gets the first look at them. 

Born and bred in the small town of Nkowankowa in Tzaneen, Limpopo, Tintswalo Kubayi was always a big dreamer.

So it's hardly any surprise that she's climbed the rungs to become a section manager at Venetia, the mine that is South Africa's largest diamond producer. Venetia is part of the De Beers Group of Companies, the world’s leading diamond company, and Tintswalo's role in the group is critical.
