The City of Angels is where dreams are pursued and dashed and, for this 26-year-old Mdantsane, it's never been a more exciting time to be an actor.
She's done ads, theatre, television and done a bit of directing and production herself.
"I've always been pursuing arts. In high school I did all sorts of drama, dancing, ballet, hip hop . . . it's something I grew up pursuing," Hilary Ijieh tells Drum.
