Musician Sjava has stuck to his guns about pursuing legal action against his ex-girlfriend, musician Lady Zamar.

This is after Lady Zamar revealed shocking abuse allegations. The two dated secretively for about two years and confirmed their relationship when they broke up.

In a series of tweets, the Monarch hitmaker detailed claims of how she was allegedly mistreated by Sjava during their on-off relationship.

It was brought to Sjava’s attention and he told his fans that he will not deal with the matter on social media, but would go the legal route.

“I am aware of the false allegations relating to abuse & assault contained in tweets by Yamikani Banda (Lady Zamar) on 29 October 2019 and the media articles based on those allegations. On the advice of my legal advisors, I am pursuing the matter through formal legal channels [sic],” he tweeted.

Now he’s updated his fans on what is going on with the matter, saying this is the last time he will be addressing the matter because it would jeopardise his case. He didn’t give much detail nor mention Lady Zamar in his statement.

“As a final statement on this matter, I write to you as my colleagues, business partners, peers and supporters to inform you that I will not be engaging on the matter of false assault and abuse levelled against me on social med or any other platform, because I have instituted legal proceedings in the High Court of South Africa and as such the matter in now sub judice,” the statement read.

When Move! contacted Lady Zamar regarding the matter, a lady named Neo said they’ve not received any legal papers informing them about a case against the singer. She promised she would inform us when they do, before ending the call.
