When they stopped fighting how thye felt about each other, love prevailed.
Wedding bells have rung in the community of Turfloop.
A love story that developed right in front of them is finally coming full circle.
The December festivities are kicking off with a celebration of this love in the very same streets that nurtured it.
Many didn't think they'd live to see the day that Zamokuhle 'Kwaito' Seakamela grows old enough to finally commit, be with one woman and even marry her.
But it is happening and that woman is Dr Elizabeth Thobakgale, the very same girl he was academically competing with throughout their high school years.
Even with their mothers at loggerheads and finances being a hurdle in their relationship, they have made it through and are both ready to show how happy they are together.
