So far, 12 million [and counting] people all over the world have watched the interview.

And it's still trending, almost a week after it first aired.

American comedian Katt Williams has been in the spotlight in numerous countries for a rant on a podcast which will live on to be spoken about for some time to come.

In the interview on Club Shay Shay, he calmly walks the host of the podcast, Shannon Sharpe, through some of his grievances as it pertains to the world of Hollywood and comedy.

He cites a string of people who he has issues with. The first was comedian Rickey Smiley who Katt claims to have had a moment or two of contention around the seminal Ice Cube and John Singleton production Friday After Next (2002) in which Katt plays the now iconic role of a pimp named Money Mike.

Katt alleged that Rickey Smiley spent most of his days on set lamenting how that role should have been given to him. Katt then broke down how it could not have gone to Rickey and how he also wrote the bits of script for that role which he says Rickey Smiley was never equipped to execute despite his begrudging stance on the matter.

Rickey wasted no time in responding and even roped in his former manager to help clear things up.

Katt also took aim at one of the Kings of Comedy in Cedric the Entertainer who he alleges stole a joke of his and changed a few minor details.

Cedric took to social media and very calmly explains how he has no idea what Katt is speaking about even though people have since pulled out footage of both the comedians doing the joke at separate times.

Katt had nothing but time and the native of Atlanta even went as far as to cite one of his fellow Atlanta entertainers in rapper turned actor Ludacris. Things took a turn to the occult when Katt suggested that Ludacris took a package from the Illuminati to do a string of high paying films provided he sold his soul. The gifted rapper went straight to his studio and armed himself with a Kanye West instrumental in response to the comedian.

Comedian Kevin Hart also bore the brunt of Katt's rant and he put out a response layered with a promo for his upcoming Netflix film which left his fans a bit surprised.

Tiffany Haddish also caught a few strays from Katt and so she responded to the veteran comic.

Another comic, Gary Owen also weighed in on the matter although he received support from Katt in his interview and he would appear to be agreeing with what Katt insinuated around matters of sexual favours being used as a currency of exchange in Hollywood.

This saga is sure to develop further with people like Martin Lawrence and Tyler Perry yet to respond to some of the things Katt mentioned on this infamous podcast episode which even saw the host addressing how uncomfortable he was to hear some of these things about people he is on good terms with.
