She is the new presenter of Africa Now Radio, Apple Music's first global African music radio show.

The show recently celebrated its first anniversary.

Since it started, the show has featured exclusive interviews with Davido, Nasty C, Tiwa Savage, Rayvanny, and many of the biggest and brightest artists from the African continent, debuted over 250 new releases.

On this Apple Music show, Luthando “LootLove” Shosha (32) presents the latest African sounds in their entirety, be it amapiano, Afrobeats, highlife, alté, house, hip-hop, Afrobongo, or kuduro.

It was a shock to her fans when she bid farewell to Metro FM in March 2021.

But the TV presenter, radio host LootLove has since also made a return to TV recently by joining the SABC 3 family as a host on Trending SA 2021.

This youth month, LootLove takes over a global stage.

She gets to rub shoulders with international stars from across the continent. Only three episodes in, she has already shared words of wisdom with the likes of Olamide, Diamond Platinum, and Black Motion.

On her debut episode, LootLove was joined by the legendary Angélique Kidjo and spoke about her new album Mother Nature.

“Interviewing Angélique Kidjo was very inspiring. I literally felt like I was speaking to my mom. She was so warm, so wise, and had such incredible energy,” LootLove says.

“She kept reminding me how strong I am as a young black woman, a much-needed reminder to never stand down to anyone. I am beyond elated to host Africa Now Radio,” LootLove says.

“This is a big moment for the universal language that is music. A moment that continues to shine a light on our continent, my home country, South Africa, and on all the magical talent we have. I am looking forward to seeing more, experiencing more, and learning more through the beauty of Africa’s music. From the Cape to Cairo and the rest of the world.”

After Metro FM, Loot Love took time off before joining Trending SA.

“I’ve missed working on radio and TV but the time away from the spotlight did me so much good. But I’m grateful I have the phenomenal opportunities in front of me to run with,” LootLove says.

“Much like most people in the industry, time off is important. While away, I was involved in an incredible production last year that I got to create and produce, you’ll hear about it soon.

“I also started Sunset Blues a new age Rnb, Neo soul and alternative show which was on a break but is also coming back soon on different social media platforms. I’m super excited about that."

“Light of my life. My heart is in shambles. I love you so damn much. I would do anything, anything to bring you back. I would give anything to see this smile again. I can’t believe my babies are going to go through life without uMalume Uncle), their absolute favourite person. I can’t believe God thinks I’m strong enough to do this,” she wrote.
