He's got something cooking and he promises it's going to be worth the wait.

Lasizwe is dropping the trailer for his new YouTube show today and he can't wait for fans to see what he's got brewing.

The first episode of Drink or Tell The Truth will go live on Friday at 6pm. Bo Sweerie, as he affectionately calls his fans, are in for a treat, he says.

He asks his guests very direct and spicy questions and if they do not want to answer, they must drink an ugly tasting concoction.

His celebrity guests will include the likes of influencer Mihlali, actress Ntando Duma, musicians Major League and Zodwa Wabantu to name a few.

“I was inspired by an international show I watched, and I thought I could adapt it and make it my own with South African celebrities,” he tells Drum.

He approached various celebrities to invite them on the show and they jumped on board.

“I wanted a show where I could ask the celebrities questions, I mean burning questions that I know people want answers to, like Ntando Duma’s alleged sex tape, she must tell us,” he says.

Lasizwe believes that YouTube is a great platform for young people, like him, to express their creativity without any limitations.

“Our time is now,” he explains.

“Back in the day, producers would own content and as creatives, young people would rely on other people in order to get their content out there. Broadcasters sometimes box people. But now because of YouTube, we can do our own thing, freely," he says.

"Now there is no commissioning editor who will tell you to keep this in and take that out, you are in control as a creative. Young people no longer have to wait for people to bring them certain opportunities, we can make things work ourselves.”
