Their marriage is an enigma.

Whether it’s their open marriage, their sexual partners or their own sex lives – people just can’t get enough of it.

This time Jada Pinkett-Smith has made headlines following her latest sex-themed Red Table Talk discussion with her mom Adrienne Banfield-Norris and guest Gwyneth Paltrow. The three women discussed the challenges of maintaining a good sex life and the importance of communicating sexual desires with your partner.

Gwyneth Paltrow was on the talk show to promote her new Netflix reality series, Sex, Love and Goop. The show takes couples through various types of sex therapy to open them up to new ways of experiencing intimacy and understanding each other’s bodies.

For Jada, Gwyneth’s show has opened her up to have more in-depth conversations about sex with her own mother.

“One of the reasons why I felt your Netflix project is so powerful is because for the first time Gammy and I were on the phone and we were having a very in-depth conversation about sex like it was nothing. And I got off the phone and I said ‘did I just have the conversation with my mother?’ and I was like ‘that is healing right there’”, she explained.

Willow – who joined for the first few minutes – Adrienne and Gwyneth also shared their experiences with conversations around sex, with all of them agreeing that they can be very uncomfortable – especially when it comes to conversations with their children and parents alike.

One of the things Jada says she has had to work on in her 26 years of marriage to Will Smith is taking accountability when it comes to their sex life. "It's hard, the thing Will and I talk about a lot is the journey,” she said.

“We started in this at a very young age, you know, 22 years old. That's why the accountability part really hit for me because I think you expect your partner to know what you need, especially when it comes to sex. It's like, 'Well, if you love me, you should know. If you love me, you should read my mind," elaborated Jada. “I feel like I’ve grown out of it too. Tell me what you need, tell me what you want and on top of it I know I have to be accountable to do the same,” she said.

The women went on to speak about how they’re raising their daughters to be sex-positive and how they’re evolving as sexual beings too.

Following the episode, many reports suggested that Jada's comments implied that she was not happy with her and Will's sex life.

Twitter users have too called out Jada for seemingly embarrassing Will Smith every chance she gets.

For the first time in months, Jada responded to reports and asked her followers to watch the episode and stop making false headlines.

Will and Jada have been married for more than 23 years and are parents to Jaden Smith (23) and Willow Smith (20).

In 2020 Jada revealed that she had a sexual relationship with singer August Alsina while she and Will were separated. Will Smith also recently opened up about their unconventional marriage and about why they did not choose monogamy.
