He accused her of introducing rapper AKA to drugs. Then she counted with lawyers' letters and a threat to sue for R500 000.
Now podcaster Reatlegile Gopane is taking it all back and has apologized to media darling, Bonang Matheba, to avoid a lawsuit.
In his podcast, Reatlegile accused Bonang of introducing rapper AKA to drugs and said AKA then introduced said drugs to his late fiancé Anele Tembe.
Bonang was not impressed and called him out on it. Instead of apologizing then, Rea said Bonang has his number and if she has something to say to him, she can call him.
She then posted a letter of demand from her Sandton based attorneys.

East London based attorney Ayanda Gwabeni says an interdict is the best way to handle the matter.
"One can apply for an interdict for the court to compel the person to stop the person from publishing the false information," he says.
"Even if the information is true, if it is not in the public interest then there is really no need to be spreading rumours about people because it can land you in a lot of trouble. You can be held be liable and prosecuted even if you just republish and you are not the author. You are the source to the next person," he says.
