Early release of Homewrecker, starring Mbali Mlotshwa and Letoya Makhene, is due to demand – Netflix

It is not a typical love triangle.

This one is life-threatening and will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Even its title lets you know of the wreckage ahead and, now that it’s officially streaming on Netflix, you also get to see some faces you haven’t seen in a while.

The release of the movie Homewrecker had to moved up earlier due to the overwhelming demand from fans who were eager to feast their eyes on the mystery drama.

While the storyline takes one through the depths of envy and betrayal, its twists and turns are led by Letoya Makhene-Pulumo who plays Kenzi Miyeni, a damaged woman consumed by an unrelenting desire to steal the life of her successful colleague, Tamara Oliphant, portrayed by the remarkable Mbali Mlotshwa.

In a statement, Netflix said that “the public’s reaction to the film has generated immense anticipation”.

As praises poured in, critics have also had a field day, expressing disappointment.

But as usual, Letoya Makhene-Pulumo showed up as the wolf in sheep's skin. Twitter streets had no choice but to stan.

Speaking to Bongani Bingwa on radio 702, the film’s producer, Salamina Mosese says, the production is of a genre that hasn’t been explored fully in the country.
