They would have been celebrating 21 years of marital bliss. 

But her other half, Shona Ferguson, died due to Covid-19 complications. 

She still continues to mark some of their biggest milestones, remembering him with love and laughter.

The Queen actress and businesswoman, Connie Ferguson recently marked 21 years of her wedding anniversary with late husband, Shona.

The couple tied the knot in 2001, November 30 just four months after they met.

Connie expressed her forever love for her, “Angel Sho”.

“This day 21 years ago. Tomorrow never came for my bestest friend, but I know how much he loved me. There’s a great comfort that comes with that, knowing just how happy you made someone in this lifetime, and how happy they made you.

“True love never dies, and I carry this love with me in my heart and soul for eternity. Thank you for the beautiful everlasting love and memories my Angel Sho.”

This follows a week after Netflix had the actress at a loss for words when it dedicated a portrait painting in honour of the late Shona.

“The tribute painting really captures his essence and his presence was strong at the Netflix summer celebration,” she said.

“You sir are super talented, thank you for this beautiful painting of the most amazing human I’ve ever known. It truly is special and the best gift to me and my family. Bless and bless you,” shared the grateful Connie.
