Love is in the air!
And local celebrities are keeping it there!
While some recently got married this year, other celebrities have announced their plans to walk down the aisle.
Here are some of the celebrities who put a ring on it and will be heading for the altar.

1. Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha
Their relationship has made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Qgom’ queen Bongekile ‘Babes Wodumo’ Simelane and kwaito sensation Mampintsha have had a rough couple of years.
Now, it seems things are looking up for the couple.
In a video that has gone viral, Mampintsha – real name is Mandla Maphumulo – can be seen going down on one knee and asking Babes to marry him.
This happened live on Gagasi’s FM’s drive show while Babes was in an interview to promote her upcoming album.
“I would like to say, I, Shimora Mr Mandla Maphumulo, it’s been a long time, we have been together for many years,” Mampintsha says to Babes as he puts the ring in her finger.
“I want you to make me the happiest man alive.
“Be my wife, Ma Simelane. It’s been years, it’s been a long time, my love,” he says to Babes.
A blushing and clearly surprised Babes “Ngempela (It's true)”, before she says “yes”, and the room erupts in celebration.
Minutes after the proposal, the Wololo hit maker took to her Instagram page and re-posted the clip of her engagement.
“Within a blink of an eye and now I’m left speechless, the journey wasn’t easy but we stuck together through thick and thin. Ngiyabonga Mashimane,”

2. Khaya Dladla and Mercutio Buthelezi
Actor Khaya Dladla will be walking down the aisle soon. The former Uzalo star and Gagasi FM host got engaged early this month to his long-term boyfriend Mercution Buthelezi.
The star shared the good news on his Instagram page.
“So, he proposed and I SAID YES,” he wrote.
In a recent interview with Drum, Khaya said the idea of getting married was not unexpected, but the timing was right.
“We would casually speak about it, so I knew one day it was coming, but not now.”

3. Letoya Makhene and Lebohang Kwesa
Actress and Musician Letoya Makhene is also preparing to get married after her bae, Lebohang Kwesa proposed.
In a romantic outdoor proposal, Lebo got down on one knee while Letoya looked on to the blue banner with the big question “Latoya will you marry me?
Lebo posted the cute proposal video on social media.
The pair has been together since the beginning of this year. And a couple of months later, they are ready to walk down the aisle.

4. Bohang Moeko and Shantal Dietrich
Actor Bohang Moeko also recently announced that he was officially off the market.
In July, the handsome Isono actor went down on one knee and popped the question to his girlfriend, Shantal Dietrich. And she said, "YES!"
The star took to Instagram and posted a romantic scenery of candle lights and rose petals and the big rock on Shantal’s finger.
“#SheSaidYes”, he captioned the short video clip.
Bohang and Shantal have been serving couple goals for a while. Not only do they take lots of pics together doing fun stuff, they are both into fitness. Shantal is a wellness coach and personal trainer.
The pair’s fairy tale love story started two years ago, when Bohang made his move on social media and slid into Shantal’s DMs. Since then they have become inseparable.
And now, two years later, the duo is ready to me hubby and wife.
