Cape Town - It’s been exactly a year since Motswako rapper Jabulani ‘HHP’ Tsambo died. He might be gone but fans and her partner Lerato Sengadi haven’t forgotten about him.
Lerato took to her social media to remember HHP whom she refers to in an endearing way as ‘motho waka (my person)’.
She posted a video where she was with Jabba, singing together while he’s driving.
In the caption she described their love as real, God given and ancestrally blessed. She also expressed how blessed she is to have been able to experience it despite the fact that many didn’t get it.
“Our love... so fun, so free, so enduring, so tested, so strong, so inspiring, so misunderstood, so loving, so prayed up! And then some!!!Imagine if I had never gotten a chance to experience this?!,” she posted on Instagram.

“And the thing about this love is that it’s accepting. And I’m learning that. Motho waka, u know what’s in my heart, that’s all that matters,” she added.
Life has been no walk in the park for the young widow from the day Jabba died.
She was in and out of court fighting for her rights as his wife. There were also allegations that she was excluded from his will and that Jabba’s son from a previous relationship would inherit his dad’s estate.
