Your relationship is the music that happens between two singers or the garden that grows under the careful attendance of two gardeners. With time, attention and nurturing, it will flourish. Each partner is a co-creator, contributing or contaminating the creation.
Sometimes one partner has more skill, energy and resources and therefore contributes more, but if it’s a proper partnership, both will invest in the garden’s health and thriving in their unique way. Ideally, as with all creative endeavours, there is an end in mind with a picture of a successful future; allowing both gardeners to be deliberate and intentional about making it a lush, sacred and beautiful place for both to find refuge from the outside world; a place for joy, peace and pleasure.
