Paballo Basetsana Mothapo, or Pabi Cooper as you might know her, is a 22-year-old amapiano sensation.
Her raspy and low voice sees her delivery akin to kwaito or rap, but her sound is firmly rooted in the genres of amapiano and bacardi house, sounds that were first crafted in her hood of Soshunguve in Pretoria.
She started out when she was 20 and since 2021, her celebrity status has grown rapidly and she now stands as one of the better live performers in the country not to mention her videos having an unruly edge to them, making her overall artistic efforts rather memorable.
