MZANSI gospel star Deborah Fraser has joined millions of people who are mourning the death of Nigerian televangelist prophet, TB Joshua.
She has since penned a heartfelt tribute describing how shattered she was.
On both her Facebook and Instagram pages, she wrote: “It is so hard and sad to say goodbye, Daddy. My heart is really broken because when you invited me for Christmas carol’s I couldn’t come to Nigeria due to unforeseen circumstances. Had I have known it was the last time I would have seen you, I would have dropped everything and came over. I will never forget my first visit in Nigeria. The warm welcome I received from you, offering me a presidential suite making me feel at home.”
Deborah said she was sick when she received his invitation.

“I had just come back from the hospital and I was like ‘the time has come for me to die’. I was hesitant to come because I had this in my mind that what if I die there. I remember when you told me exactly what happened the previous night while I was sleeping. I got goosebumps. I cried, you laughed and started praying for me. You said the next time you come here, it will be your birthday. You said to me the trouble is over. When I come back I will testify. I left Nigeria and came back to my country.”
Deborah said she was a different person when she returned to Mzansi.
“I went back to my weight, beautiful as I used to be. After I was given names and given all these diseases. Daddy, you said I must pray and have faith.”
She said that has kept him going.
“What a man of God you were. Go well. Go home and make the heavens rejoice,” said Deborah.
The tribute was accompanied by her video clips, performing during one of TB Joshua’s church services.
The posts were soon flooded with fans and followers also mourning the death of the 57-year-old pastor who died in Lagos, Nigeria, on Saturday.
