WHATSAPP has officially rolled out new updates.

Users are now able to react to a message with emojis similar to Facebook.

Wait that’s not all, users are also now able to share files that are up to 2GB in size, which is a huge jump from the previous 100MB limit.

On Thursday, 5 May, Meta, which is the parent company behind WhatsApp, said all these updates would be rolled out to all the users in the coming weeks.

Users have been urged to use Wi-Fi when uploading or downloading large files as they will require more data.

“One of the top requests we’ve consistently received is the option to add more people to a chat, so now we’re slowly rolling out the ability to add up to 512 people to a group,” WhatsApp said in a statement.

Last month, WhatsApp also announced that it would be rolling out improvements to voice messages.

The new updates will make recording and sending a voice message as quick and easy as writing a text.

Update your WhatsApp so that you don’t miss out on any of these new improvements.
