AS technology continues to shape our daily lives, smart tech electronic devices are also being introduced at a fast pace.

The rise of streaming services in this digital age requires quality devices that are going to take your viewing experience to the next level.

With that said, if you are planning to upgrade your old TV to a better one, I suggest you go for a smart TV that will bring entertainment closer to your proximity.

A friend of mine recently bought a Mzansi manufactured smart TV called Skyworth and I had the privilege of reviewing it. What a masterpiece!

This device is an Android TV supported by Google and allows users to install their desired applications.

Skyworth Android TV has exciting features, such as:

  • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support to get you started with an internet-based setup that requires your Google account credentials.
  • Chromecast built-in that allows you to easily cast shows and movies from your android or iOS device.

You first need to connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android TV.

  • Pre-installed apps such as Google Play, Netflix, YouTube and Prime Video. A paid subscription is still required to run some of the streaming services.
  • Support for video game controllers, wireless mouse and keyboards through USB ports.
  • Internal storage size of up to 5GB and Android 11 operating system.
  • Advanced gaming experience which caters for basic 3D arcade racing, battle and adventure games.

There are various brands out there but this one, based on my experience, is worth every cent.
