ARTIFICIAL Intelligence (AI) is fast taking over the technological space in the world.
Google Cloud describes AI as a set of technologies that enable computers to perform a variety of advanced functions, including the ability to do human activities.
This innovation is also being implemented in the digital environment, where people are often the go-to for information and entertainment.
A stunning example of this new technology is ChatGPT, a computer-powered program that understands natural human language, providing comprehensive and concise responses.
According to Business Insider, the new AI chatbot can code, compose music, write essays and more.
ChatGPT chatbot was developed by OpenAI and launched in November 2022.
Since its inception, the program saw 100 million monthly active users in January, making it one of the fastest consumer applications in history.
It can be used to solve most of our problems in this digital age.
A thought shared by Gerhard Swart, a chief technology officer at cybersecurity company Performanta, believes that ChatGPT could be used as a cybercrime tool.
“I can see how ChatGPT will make it easier to access cybercrime tools and learn how to use them but that is a side concern – at least for now.
“The bigger problem is how it will be used for scams. ChatGPT and similar AIs won’t create new cybercrime threats. They will make current threats worse,” Swart said in a statement.
The computer-run program can be accessed on iPhone and Android smartphones through the Chat OpenAI website.
ChatGPT app is not available yet on Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
In conclusion, these innovations present an opportunity for organisations to amplify their online presence and improve user experience.
