accreditation

A MAN from Blackburn, England, has been handed a driving ban and fined after he was caught on camera speeding in a Lamborghini supercar.

Yahoo Sports reports that Nabeel Nasir (30) was arrested while driving on Keighley Road, Colne, on 15 February.

It is reported that Nasir was driving a Lamborghini Urus, an Italian supercar powered by a four-litre twin-turbo V8 engine.

The machine boasts a spectacular 657 brake horsepower with a top speed of 190mph. A new Lamborghini Urus costs around R3,3 million.

The publication further reports that Nasir appeared in the Preston Magistrates Court on 23 November, and pleaded guilty to speeding on a road with a 50km/h limit.

Handing down the judgement, the magistrate handed Nasir a 56-day driving ban and fined him £491 (about R10 000). He is expected to pay £100 (around R2 100) a month, and his first repayment is due on 21 December.
