It targets South African and international exhibitors as well as trade visitors from the region’s automotive service industry. It is also the largest business platform of its kind on the continent, providing over 600 companies from 20 countries with an engagement and trading platform.
Gauteng Tourism Authority CEO Sthembiso Dlamini said one of the key differentiating factors of this year’s event was the investment competition, that would give Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises the opportunity to present their ideas and innovations to a panel of experts.
The winner will not only get an international platform to showcase their talent, but also the exposure to either sell or become agents for key players. The prize money offered is estimated around R350 000 in four categories.
