Parenting is one of the most difficult tasks and the way we exercise this responsibility can either make or break families.
One of the things that causes problems in many families when coming to parenting styles is disciplining kids.
Kids are smart and can make out the difficult parent and the soft one.
Once kids realise that, they use that to manipulate the situation.
Parents in many families are not on good terms with each other because of having disagreements on discipline.
Parents should agree on how they are going to raise their kids.
Parents should stop playing the good parent compared to the other.
A lot of families have split because parents did not agree on discipline.
If we agree not to give kids money, both of us must not give kids money.
The problem comes when the other secretly breaks the agreement, then kids end up hating the other parent.
Parenting must be teamwork, where we both participate unanimously.
