STOAN Seate will be back on your screens tonight with another heartfelt episode of Sun’Ceda.
This week, he will be joined by Lina Sibisi from Tembisa, Ekurhuleni.
Stoan told Daily Sun the episode with Lina, who is an advocate for children’s literacy, would warm viewers’ hearts.
“We got to experience her in her element, working and conducting reading classes. It was heart-warming to see how gentle and passionate she is in ensuring that kids become literate. This is especially important as some kids go all the way to matric unable to read,” he said.
The presenter said he helped Lina by organising her classroom.
“It was so beautiful to see the joy on the children’s faces when they walked into the classroom after we were done with it,” he said.
“What I like about kids is that they are honest and would have told us if there was anything they didn’t like. The smiles on their faces said it all, especially when it was time for the reading session with a leading children’s book author, who presented an animated reading session.
“The kids did not want her to stop, even when it was time to go.”
Stoan told the People’s Paper he was grateful to 1Life Insurance for its continuous support.
“The brand has put its money where its mouth is. We are grateful for the support they have shown us throughout the past two seasons,” he said.) Catch Sun’Ceda on Mzansi Wethu (DStv channel 163) Thursdays at 6.30pm.
